Merddin Emrys
Merddin Emrys
Merddin Emrys is the oldest Double Fairlie still in working order, and like the real thing ours is the oldest in terms of build date. A Wrightlines kit that's based on it's time as oil fired. Built by Peter Hoyle and re liveried by Chris Clark.
Earl of Merioneth
Earl of Merioneth a future Double Fairlie TBA
David Lloyd George
David Lloyd George built by the Ffestinog Railway in 1992 is a modified Wrightlines Double Fairlie kit built by Paul Holmes to a very high standard. Over the years DLG has seen many liveries from Grey, Brick Red to what it is currently carrying. Our model is what you see today. A real favourite among enthusiasts and crews alike.
Taliesin II
Taliesin II was built by the Ffestiniog in 1999, the smallest of the bunch but by no means less powerfull. Our model depicts the loco in the late 00s livery with added coal bunker arrangement. Origionally built by a friends Dad and finished off by Paul Holmes. A favourite of ours often gets people talking about it at shows.
James Spooner II
James Spooner is the newest Double Fairlie on the Ffestiniog Railway, as soon as we saw it we had to have one. Ours is a adapted Wrightlines kit with custom 3D parts like the bells and sandpots. Chassis are EDM ones built for us by Paul Holmes.
