Prince

No.2 Prince the oldest locomotive on the re-opened Ffestiniog Railway, a Mercian Models kit set to the late 90s early 00s livery. DCC sound using a England sound file. Often found pulling the Green sets on our layout and exhibitions. A real workhorse and has probably done 1000s of virtual model miles on Rhiw Goch.

Mountaineer (Original)

No.3 Mountaineer a future locomotive for Rhiw Goch TBC.

Palmerston

No.4 Palmerston is a Mercian Models kit built at the same time as Prince a favourite of ours often found pulling the Heritage Freight set. DCC sound using a England sound file.

Welsh Pony

No.5 Welsh Pony is the newest of three Mercian Models kits we currently run on our layout. Built by Paul Holmes to an excellent standard. DCC sound fitted using an England sound file. Often seen with our Victorian set at exhibitions. One image to the right shows the model posed next to some Welsh Steam Ale from Purple Moose.
